mad mad mad mad, but it's January and no one is paying invoices on time so nice that my "have a bank account so you can renew your residency" fund is having fun while I'm worried about paying heating bills with actual money.

Like, i get that it's all fake numbers doing crazy stuff due to the markets panicking but I'm making nearly €1000 a day at the moment*

(*again, this is NOT real money, but it's cheering getting to say "oh go you lil fella")

um yes.
The kids used the door for firing practice.
Also the frescoes.

Editorial Note: It has taken more than 20 minutes to get this far, including at least one point at which most people would have closed the laptop and gone outside. I'm not suggesting that government infects any IT it touches with incompetence, but I'm not NOT suggesting that either.

There is something to the (unintentional) comeuppance of Lucy in her final scene where she says some ghastly things and demands the most racist pudding known to humanity.

This is all unarguable.
İt's a book that has to fit Poirot in somehow and it's a bit of a squeeze, but it is delightful to see him.
Even though the book is really about several women who are all mad in their own way

İ wonder if The Hollow is a Christie book where the Suchet version has stopped me storing memories of the real thing?

both systems work, just in different ways.

Fascinating seeing a different system in operation - from Dad developing a toe infection (in the Monmouth floods!) to getting an x-ray has been two months. Still waiting on results.
We got the whole shebang - apt, x-ray, results appt, treatment plan in 3 hours. 3 boring hours but still...
