A few years ago I took the dog for a walk at 8am on Boxing Day and there was already one at the recycling point in the park.

Approx 36 hours after arrival she got into a proper ward, having spent the night in what is usually a daycare centre. Can't fault the staff - all superb (and needless to say, from all over the place). The hospital simply doesn't have enough beds for the area it serves.
