I would imagine public opinion on this fluctuates a fair bit and is higher in the aftermath of a well publicised and heinous crime. Speaking as someone who just fits into the gen x bracket I think that, were the death penalty ever reintroduced, I would do everything possible to leave the UK.

Picked up a copy of this at the last Dragonmeet. Thought of combining it with Pirate Borg.

It became the only possible destination for them when they started to persecute a minority and subscribed to biological essentialism in order to justify it and whipped up a moral panic to sustain it.

Won't happen. What is interesting to see is the GOP representatives racing to prostrate themselves before their orange overlord, all dignity fully abandoned.

As the Trump administration systematically removes the rights of all women the TERFs will cheer because, somewhat ironically, they're actually misogynists.

Possibly, but it will be much harder for her to defend herself against a true accusation with Frankie's weight behind it. She'll have to keep lying convincingly and I'm not sure she can keep it up. Could be wrong. Of course they won't know the identity of banished players in the final.

It seems odd that the problem they have with it is its position within the book.

For years RPGs have included sections about GMing and how best to run a game where everyone is comfortable. Having an option to clarify what the campaign is about and what themes will be covered seems only sensible.

I mean it's sort of woo woo stuff but it's hardly controversial. Hollywood peeps are frequently up to much weirder stuff than that. Just look at Tom Cruise.

Think it'll mostly pass unnoticed.

Um... probably not.

I'd like to see that to be honest.

Starmer seems to have done anything he can to alienate progressives in an attempt to win over the centre right. In the longer term this seems to be a losing strategy, since the Tories and Reform are simply going to be better at winning this group over. Effectively he's hollowing out the party.

Also he's apparently paying people to play Diablo 4 and Path of Exile for him, so if that's the case he's not even good at competitive gaming...

So I've literally just reached the point where I recruit Ulfar on to my crew. The voice acting by yourself and the rest of the cast is fantastic in this game, as is the writing. Going to end up doing a second play through for sure.

...yet here we are. Personally I think that we're in for four years of increasingly strained relations between the US and pretty much every nation within their geopolitical orbit (which is pretty much all other nations).

GOP representatives are saying whatever they think will please the MAGA crowd as they are entirely ethically flexible. The very idea that a president elect would even joke about invading a neighbouring country in a public forum would have seemed inconceivable a couple of US administrations ago...

Left wing purity politics can be a problem. I've encountered it myself in conversations that have got unnecessarily heated. the thing is though, I don't think that many people will have experienced it themselves. What people will have been more likely to witness is the right wing exaggerating it.

...see progressivism as something that's driven large swathe of voters to the right (as an aside I'm now remembering how annoying character limits are why typing stuff on social media platforms).
