Went into a Halifax branch to open a bank account for the 12 yo, was told to do it through the app. Application has since been denied for unknown ID photo issue from generic email account. Make it make sense. Modern Technological life is making things harder.

This is the article, I believe, that first kicked things off. That was when the attacks began in earnest.

New Wolf Alice album... It's ok? Can tell it's done by a big label. Beige. Fucking love White Horses though.

Just finished the brilliant 'Up Pohnpei', which has made me nostalgic for travel on top of keeping me motivated for continuing to coach youth football. Thanks to @paul-c-watson.bsky.social. Are you still in contact with Dilshan?

Any shares of this for algorithmical purposes much-appreciated. I'd love to get these books out of my spare room & into the world before my new novel comes out. I'll sign them all & I really am happy to let people choose what they pay.

(Postage to UK is £4.)
All I have left of the 1000s of books I bought from my ex-publisher's warehouse are about 200 copies of Ring The Hill. I'd *love* to get them to good homes this week.

If you're in the UK & you'd like one, for the price of your choice (any price!), pls email me your address at [email protected].

Recurring thought over the past few years with climate carnage on the horizon.
My decision to keep my debts to a minimum is going to look pretty fucking silly if World War 3 followed by armageddon happens.

The main problem with our world is that the sun will burn out in about 5 billion years. We need a way to mix the unburned hydrogen into the core, so we can prolong the fusion phase. This is urgent. We probably need a solution within the next 500 million years.
