Today I called both of my senators (Peters and @slotkin.senate.gov) to urge them to vote NO on the GOP's CR. Neither face re-election this year and have leverage to demand a clean funding deal that protects Americans from the pillaging of Musk and Trump's rampage through our civil institutions.

Went out last week to get blood drawn but my NP hadn't entered labs. I had been looking forward to my Brave Girl Coffee Treat since the night before, though, so I had it waiting in the car already.
Today I successfully got labs done... And got a second coffee treat, because I'm STILL very brave. 😅

Need to temper my reaction to my MIL's email w/r/t my job search, as her use of "most millennials don't want to work, but that's not you so you should find something right away" has caused my brain to go nova and shoot lasers out my eyes.

I know I am biased by my own experience, but I constantly want to pressure my West Coast peeps to move to the Midwest. Like climate change is coming directly for your neck and by the time you are forced to leave, your property value will be gone if the place is unlivable/uninsurable.
