Wonder why Trump threatens to attack allies? Because he is scared to death to show actual strength. But he can scream and yell at allies because it makes him LOOK strong to MAGAs and he will never have to actually prove it.

Again, he’s a frightened boy looking for dads approval

You’ve definitely heard of the Costco DEI story by now, but it’s even more beautiful when you know the full background.

The shareholders put together a list of proposals to run by the board. Proposal 4 reads: “SHAREHOLDER PROPOSAL REQUESTING REPORT ON THE RISKS OF MAINTAINING DEI EFFORTS”

pluralism is the foundational insight of liberalism and actually it’s pretty important and good!
A member of the Military Operations Command drops some pure logic:

"you want to worship God or the Devil, it's not our business, we can talk about that on a cup of tea, you convince me, I convince you, whatever. As for the State, it must accommodate for all to live in it"

So basically the Trump Admin’s immigration policy is to increase the number of people from other countries who come in and take high-skilled, high paying American jobs, while deporting everyone else doing physically grueling jobs for shit wages?

Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie because of the setting. It's a Christmas movie because it has The Christmas Plot:

A man who is neglecting his family to focus on work learns What Really Matters through an improbable crisis around the holidays and rededicates himself to his wife and kids

With the collapse of X the MAGAts are desperately trying to get attention on my IG posts now. To quote @stonekettle.bsky.social, I ejected a half dozen out the airlock. Such sad little creatures. They are like beagles hanging around malinois. Noisy and not bright.

This administration took an oath to protect and defend the constitution from foreign and domestic threats!!! If they do not… then they are guilty as well. They clearly see the threat… they must protect the American people!!!!

No, I do not think that the 14th amendment will be enforced by anyone, least of all the US Supreme Court. But then they abdicated their responsibility to the constitution when they granted Trump immunity from prosecution for crimes while committed in office.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.
