If Jesus is Lord, then the Market God is not.

How do we report the Market God to HR?

All super rich guys sound the same now. It’s all “I sleep four hours a night and spend the other twenty hours a day developing a product that’s going to bring us the best widespread poverty anyone’s ever seen.”

Okay so Eric Schmidt might have one-upped me. I’ve been saying Capitalism is the latest hit religion. He’s saying the next hit religion will be AI.

I suppose he’ll want to be in the AI religion’s Curia.

I wonder if Baby Jesus knew that one day his birthday would be celebrated by people all over the world as part of Toyotathon.

We are not “resources” to be managed and used — we are the very image of God. The Market can’t top that!

Billionaire-ism isn't helping anyone but billionaires.
Agree or disagree?

It’s not like they own Jesus. He can be other people’s Jesus too.

For me, AI is a much more affordable creative assistant / grad student.

I still know more about my own theology than it does, but the chatbot helps me connect the dots I’m actively drawing myself more quickly.

AI speeds up my own creative process.

Don’t you love it when someone tells an evangelical part of their story, and the evangelical says, “yeah, but here’s the story you’re supposed to have.”

If God *equals* pure, selfless generosity, we know a few things about God.

1) Selfless generosity isn’t interested in being all-powerful. Just doesn’t cross its mind. God isn’t interested in being all-powerful, so neither should we.

It’s not that God “chooses” to be selfless generosity. It’s that God *equals* pure, selfless generosity.

If evangelicalism is so harmful no one can miss it — not even evangelicals — wouldn’t that mean that they’re all just play-acting to hide their spiritual trauma?

(That would be much more consistent with the original meaning of “hypocrite” than mere moral inconsistency, btw.)

Church camp leaders and televangelists I grew up with taught me I was a member of a persecuted minority, a remnant. I was not.

But I believed them and started the fifth Christian club at my high school because the other four were probably just sleeper cells for secularism.

Our species cannot transition to the Economy of God without the participation of the archons. No redemption of the archons? No redemption of us. (And vice vera.)

We created the archons, so we are the ones who must redeem them.

Wondering what a Truth & Reconcilition Commission between humanity and the archons would look like, and what it could look like.
