These #tariffs are a form of economic shock therapy.
Shock therapy is a horrible idea, even if it works.
We will see a major hit to quality of life, but in the (unlikely) event it does encourage American manufacturing and improve our revenue then perhaps my future children will have a better time.

Why do we live in a world where in regards to executions "humane" only means "least messy?"
The most humane way to die is to have your brain destroyed as quickly as possible.
Lethal injection uses a paralytic so that agony is not visible.
That is not humane.
