I used to be a pretty big wheel down at the cracker factory.
And now Douglas Luiz back to Villa. Dare say these are eminently sensible moves for players that should slot straight into a side that needs to go on a run for the title now or forget about it…

We all worked to install an honest to god ignoramus as leader of the Labour Party by lying to the public in unison about more or less every part of the project. But there’s no need to dwell on who said what, when it’s caused much bigger, more immediate problems.

The most forensic lawyer-y move he’s actually managed to play.

It was marked in Liverpool fans when they won it under Klopp. They were extremely fatalistic, downbeat, always expecting worst going into games but this feels angrier with Arsenal fans.

Bless him, Gyokeres really tried. He almost had his moment right at the death. I think he will end up being your Vincent Janssen.

Fascinating how great the Emirates sounded and felt at the start of the game. These modern bowl designs really work when everyone joins in but the minute it drops at all it turns the other way.

Not knocking them. It’s an observation, not an accusation or a judgement. I heard it all.

- They pay/have paid too much money to see the team falter like this.
- Every single player, including Saka, not brave enough and need to go.
- Win or go, Arteta, had enough.
- “We’re bottling it again!”
