Who are we talking about and what emails? I threw off my lists in pandemic some awful people who disdained science and herd immunity. Clue me in and I suspect we strongly agree about the chucklehead.

The sheen that following generations would apply to Founders misses the point Joe Ellis writes so often about. Dave McCullough, too. Just people in their own time not knowing how things would work out. I argue they wanted positive future reviews. Like everyone else.

1) How Richard Nixon’s political like can never be replicated again in US.

2) How LBJ amassed power and then what he did with it.

3) How Elvis Presley came to define what the ultimate performance on a stage meant in the 1970s.

The last GOP president that I respected was H W Bush and Ford before in 1974. Bush because he was intelligent and world focused with internationalist values. Ford for decency and knowing how Congress worked. Pardon tough but correct decision.

Trump’s deflecting is truly bypassing the jumping of the shark moment from Happy Days sitcom. There is some bad stuff in the Epstein files to act this bizarrely to attempt to turn the page.

Living authentically is the only way to live life.

I am sorry for what happened to you. As a gay man, I know and you know, that we are not mistakes that need to be refashioned. I press policy solutions and political action and ask you to be, and stay involved, with 2026 midterms. This issues harms so many. Thanks.

As someone who was subjected to conversion therapy, it doesn’t work. It won’t work. It’s torture. I was hooked up to an IV and made to vomit watching gay porn for two hours per week. I was prayed over. Bibles and the Book of Mormon were shoved in my face.

James and I received our Covid shots from Pfizer this afternoon. Believing in science and caring for the larger community is a good thing. There was a time not so long ago when the majority of the nation agreed. Let us strive to be like that again. Thank you.

This map is why there is, though muted, great misgivings among some Republicans in Congress about the rate increases for ACA this fall. As renewal letters arrive, I believe there will be a noticeable change in the narrative as the government shut down continues.

Farmers, by and large, are Republicans. They soaked up the racism and the culture wars in 2024, now finding that they should’ve voted smarter when it came toTrump. I would like to be empathetic for their plight, but what they did to this country is unforgivable. They need to learn racism is wrong.

As an adult, I always voted in person and then called my parents back in my hometown to find out what number they were at their voting place. Dad was a World War II veteran and voting was considered an absolute responsibility. In Madison, I live on the same block as polling place perfect!

A year ago, when people said such things, I said it would never happen. 62 years of age, pragmatic about government and policy making and not conspiracy driven. But I think the odds are that military forces will be on the ground at polling places in November 2026. And I find that very sad to admit.

Should we now assume that all those angry Trump voters that claimed Brown people were taking their jobs will now finally be able to put their resumes in to get up at 5 AM to milk the cows?

I urge everyone to stand up and get out to Fond du Lac, and other places where protest movements can be found. No more being compliant, complicit, kneeling, or thinking this is going to get better without our involvement and our determination to make it so.

Reporters used to have a couple of stories a day to dive into and form research and analysis around for the morning paper. It is now a blizzard of chaos and absurdities which land on their desk. This is not only troubling from a journalistic perspective, but from a democracy one as well.

This makes as much sense as any of the so-called hard hitting journalism and fact-based reporting that we all know to be at the heart of Fox News!

Stephan Miller is a reminder that we have forgotten history. He is an example of all that was wrong and most despicable in German from the 1930s. It would be near impossible to think of another person in the public arena that more resembles Hitler’s Germany than this man. I find that to be very sad.

We love, Dolly! She remains one of the most uplifting, principled, empathetic, and responsible voices in our nation today. I would argue she is an essential American in 2025.

Living in Madison, I can assure you that Ron Johnson is viewed as a despicable, ignorant, conspiracy-driven, shameful, and do-nothing senator. He married into money, and we contend that his wife gives him an allowance if he will just go to Washington and leave her alone.
