It’s so annoying that we all have to just continually point out how rules around/between decorum and violation are applied asymmetrically to vulnerable groups versus the people who are always hassling them, and it’s extra insulting that the people in charge are trying to lol it away.

It's happened so much for me that I actually prefer going to do things alone now. There was one time people did show up and I was like, "Man, why does this actually suck, I feel really tied down, I just want to go do my own thing without waiting on these people and compromising." Life is weird!
