I’ve never hesitated to join a Republican colleague standing up for the American people. While Republicans need to reopen the govt, we can't hold food assistance hostage. I'm backing Sen. Hawley's bill to keep SNAP going during the shutdown. Leader Thune needs to bring it to a vote NOW!

Our healthcare community is ridiculously broken. We have a therapy for Alzheimer’s that improves cognition up to 5 points, & politics prevents a US developed treatment from being offered in the US?
