It starts with subtle dehumanising, subtle rhetoric, bits of propaganda…

Then it latches on to a crisis moment to double down on the rhetoric to get people on-side.

The killing is the last part.

I didn't buy it as a suicide either but I can say I genuinely understand why some older black men would want it to be anything except a lynching. Because that leads any of us to question whether or not we've made an ounce of progress in 100 years. Younger people can't understand how deep that cuts
