Sure. The point of the post is that we all know people who will suffer severely when this is done to them by their shift manager and it's worth our time make plans for community response now, before that happens.

Say you know someone in the Kimmel props dept. What system do you have in place to protect them from this? What system do you want in place for people targeted like this? What can you do right now to help build it, before it's needed for people in your community?

Sit ins.

Boycotts.

Pickets.

Strikes!

How will you make it clear people have to be rehired with back pay?

Jimmy Kimmel can afford to lose his job. He's rich enough he never has to work again.

Us rank and file workers don't have that luxury. None of us alone can afford that kind of oppression. But together we can keep each other safe.

There has *never* been a nation-wide general strike in the US. All of us advocating and planning for a general strike can reasonably be looking specifically to our communities (Towns, cities, counties, states) to build the solidarity we need for a general strike in our area.
