That day, the aurora crawled climbed down the air to lay above the ground. The thick shimmering sheets of rolling green surrounded everyone.

Hessen is an epic alliterative poem split into five "books" a la the Odyssey, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Beowulf, etc.
