Last year, we were protesting and boycotting the consolidation of media into pro-Trump propaganda.

We have absolutely arrived in the place we feared. And now I can’t stop thinking about everything else that has happened that I never heard about at all.

I can’t emphasize enough how shocked my out of state friends and family are when I tell them what has happened in Minneapolis since Renee Good’s murder.

Without reliable media, most not-chronically-online people are completely in the dark. If you want to help Minnesota, tell people what you know.

I’m thinking this morning about all the people I spoke to last year who were absolutely convinced, and tried to convince me, that Trump would be antiwar compared to Biden and Harris.

In the past week alone he has attacked Nigeria and then Venezuela and also threatened to attack Iran (again).

People I know in Pennsylvania who volunteered for Harris said the biggest reason why young men didn't want to vote for Harris was that they believed she would send them to war.

Right now guys like Bannon and Roger Stone are already jostling to see who gets the cut to sell the eventual pardon to Trump.
Drugs my ass. He just sold a pardon to a Central American head of state drug kingpin.

Among the many reasons you don’t kidnap a foreign head of state at gunpoint even if you have the capability, is that it sparks consequences you can neither control nor anticipate.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

If Nicolás Maduro stands trial in the United States and gets convicted of 34 felonies, does that mean he’s qualified to be our next president now?

Just checking what the standards are these days.

It somehow seems worse than that? I read it as Lee saying Trump is protected because in order to kidnap a head of state, Trump had to strike a foreign country to protect US troops who were on the ground to... kidnap a head of state.

ah yes, the best way to explain and understand the world is by ignoring experts and practitioners and turning our attention to the “average American,” whatever that means

Also, when reporters start talking about the chatbots this way, it is imperative to remind them they are basically asking a toaster for comment. They should be a lot more embarrassed about this than they currently are.

“Grok told CNN…” no it didn’t. You typed stuff into an unreliable calculator.

Erroneously thinking you've taken intelligence tests, when the tests were administered because doctors are (repeatedly) concerned you have dementia and may pose a danger to yourself and others, is probably yet another sign that you actually do have dementia.

Kyiv did not sleep once again last night. On the last weekend of the year, the capital should have smelled of mulled wine, cinnamon, chocolate and joy.

Instead, our city was filled with smoke, gunpowder, explosions, screams, and curses.

The Russian attack lasted twelve hours.
