We're meant to have these things called the Australian Federal Police and also the National Anti-Corruption Commission who are both certainly authorised to act in the scenario where a government department is recovering >$3.5m a year in fraud without even really actively looking.
antipovertycentre.org
Lmao the employment department has recovered 10.6 MILLION from providers due to fraud tip-offs over 3 years, and not shut down a single provider.

Reminder: They spend 4 BILLION A YEAR on this system, which is about 25% of how much they spend on JobSeeker payments each year.

A screenshot of a tweet by Jeremy Poxon. The profile picture shows a man with glasses and a beard. The username is @JeremyPoxon. The tweet text reads: "This remains the biggest, unspoken scandal in Australian politics, btw".

Below the tweet is a table titled "Workforce Australia Services" with data for the period April 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025. The table has two columns: "Events" and "Clients." The rows of the table are categorized by "Cohort," including:

Female (with subcategories by age)

Male (with subcategories by age)

Indigenous

People With Disability

Culturally And Linguistically Diverse

Refugee

Allowance Group: JobSeeker Payment

Allowance Group: Youth Allowance

Allowance Group: Others

Partial Capacity to Work

Parent

Education (with subcategories)

All Cohorts (with a total of 224,960 events and 147,175 clients)

A note below the table's title states that a payment suspension is when a client's income support payment is placed on hold without any gap in payment and with no delay in the client's regular payment.

Yep, Glencore was founded by an actual criminal, Marc Rich.

"In 1983, Rich and partner Pincus Green were indicted on 65 criminal counts, including income tax evasion, wire fraud, racketeering, and trading with Iran during embargo," WP.

He was pardoned by Clinton in 2001, on his last day in office.
