They advocates for a paradigm shift in web agent research: rather than forcing web agents to adapt to interfaces designed for humans, we should develop a new interaction paradigm specifically optimized for agents.

The US Copyright Office worked on this report for years, and it broadly agrees with what EGAIR and creators believe:

It is not 'fair use' to train AI on creators' works without a license.

Now, two heads of these agencies devoted to preserving and protecting culture and history have been "fired".
So if I am getting this right:
Thursday the librarian of Congress was fired.
Friday the copyright office rushed out a draft report suggesting genAI training on copyrighted works shouldn’t be legal.
Saturday the head of the copyright office is fired.

It is so profoundly frustrating the way social media algorithms rewarding outrage and bad behavior has put much of the world into a fascism tailspin. It doesnt feel like hyperbole to say that Facebook introducing the algorithmic feed may be the single most cataclysmic domino fall of this century.
Pew's findings paint a concerning picture of the online news landscape. The widespread dominance of conservative male voices in the news content creator world tilts public discourse toward reactionary right wing narratives, which are then boosted by algorithms that reward sensationalism and outrage
The majority of news influencers are conservative men, study finds
The latest Pew Research report on news content creators paints a damning picture of our skewed information ecosystem

WTF is going on here at Blue Sky? People are civil to each other. People having intelligent discussions. People are spelling things correctly. I haven’t seen any racism or sexism.

I’m confused.

Please, if you are able, support Independent bookshops.

They are the literary & social hubs of our high streets and communities.

Without their continued support, we simply wouldn't be around to publish .

Thank you.
