We need pan-EU parties & a majority of MEPs appoints an executive & gov.
Much less power to national politicians. Away with the endless vetoes, which prevents EU from acting as fast & as decisively as the global competition.🇨🇳🇺🇸
If EU is to stay relevant in the new reality, this is the way.

Interesting perspective with the no-confidence motions strengthening the Spitzenkandidatenprinciple.

The only people whose opinion matters on this peace deal are the people of Gaza, many of whom are cautiously optimistic. It is hard to be genuinely hopeful as a Palestinian, but I pray that the ceasefire holds and that Israel does not renege on the agreement.

1) Israel has not ceased fire in previous peacedeals.
2) Israel holds 10.000 hostages, which must be released as well.
3) The West Bank must also get peace and Israels settlers must leave.
EU can help if it pressures Israel to these consessions, as EU is the biggest trading partner.

My family suffered in the Nazis camps as well, while my grandad fought both the Russians & the Nazis. But we did not use it as an excuse to cause genocide & ethnic cleansing on others, esp totally unrelated non-white non-Christian people in ME. Zionism is as bad as Russia in Ukraine & the Nazis.

I have quit my subscription due to TEs coverage of Is genocide. I am paying for journalism, not regurgitated talking points of the perpetrator. Did TE also do that in WW2: Nazis deny they target civilians or have concentration camps.
