On this day 38 years ago, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link released on the Famicom in Japan. This unique Zelda had notorious difficulty but introduced famous things to the series such as "I am Error," Dark Link, and the Palace Theme / Hyrule Temple song in Super Smash Bros. Melee!
