I bought a toy camera that prints on thermal receipt paper. I’ve been taking photos of random things. This was from a recent trip to the Halloween section of a Home Goods store.

Sturgill Simpson’s Sound & Fury is one of my all time favorite albums. It all started when I saw this image reposted. I still haven’t watched the anime (it’s on Netflix).

losing my shit because my dad was telling me that some country music artist he likes went to the hospital and got high off edibles and made an album that was so far removed from being country music that country music fans of his are having fucking fits about it online but that's not the strange part, the strange part is that this dude sought out the guy who animated those cool 3d jojo intros from parts 1-3 and that one batman ninja movie (i think his name is junpei mizusaki) and got him to animate a full 40 minute short film set to his new weird album and it looks like fucking

Hello #fungifriends! I found these guys growing out of a fallen dead tree on a river bank. I think they’re Jack O’Lantern Mushrooms based on the time of the year found (September), location (deciduous/conifer forest in Western MA), and overall look.

Any input is appreciated 😊

Close-up of the apothecia disks of Lecanora lichen. The larger disks are round with brown-purple interior and white rim. The smaller disks are concaved making them look like bowls rather than disks. The thallus of lichen is rough, grainy textured and green.
