As it happens he's been looking for a dog for a while, and as he and his Mum already have a female Lab the puppy is actually a good idea in many ways.
Just a bit of a shock to his system 🤣

In this case, a stupid man decided that his girlfriend really needed a bully/Staffie/pittie mix puppy to go with her three kids under five.
Then he cleared off and left the woman with the kids and the dog.
She put puppy on FB with "make me an offer", and luckily The Boyfriend got there first!

Looking for a bit of doggie advice for The Boy...

There's a lot of mine but it's lots of quite fine hair so it doesn't take too long for the front and sides to dry.
The back can stay damp for hours, though!

I think crochet and knitting have both gained a much younger and trendier following, and the likes of YouTube, Instagram and Reddit have pushed this forward and created international links too.
I agree though that the gamified format isn't a suitable way to represent fibre arts, which is a shame.

My hair wash routine is:
1) Brush tangles and loose hairs out
2) In shower, shampoo, rinse
3) Condition, finger comb.
4) Rinse, squeeze out
5) Wrap in a towel
6) Squeeze gently with towel to remove most of the water
7) Finger comb curl treatment through
8) Leave to air dry.

Definitely a chore!
