My New Year's resolution last year was to make a bronze statue - which didn't happen, but I've been working on a bunch of other personal projects, so I am at peace with that. This year I'd like to read more books. I've given up on "no phone in the bed" -- "phone in the bed" is now my hobby.

Man its like just so invasive and gross feeling to see "Edit Image" appear over other people's images. Musk decided to give us the only kind of gift he can for christmas, sickening disappointment. Best of luck out there folks.

I forget where I saw this sentiment but I read some quote somewhere that said “your first thought is what you’re conditioned to think, but your second thought is your real thought.” This has REALLY helped me out on a number of levels lately.

Idk man, that Tiny Chef cancellation video really got me. This is what it feels like to be a creative in 2025 - it doesn’t matter how many accolades you get, you’re still disposable. Worse yet, people are gleeful to see your hard work replaced by AI slop.

Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.
