I am working on an exhibit at the Beach Museum of Art that is pairing the drawings of California WPA artist, Evelyn Renfrew, and clothing from the K State Historic Costume and Textile Museum. Look at how adorable these little drawings are!

This little dingus is my ESA. Smokey was my ESA as well. Even though cats cannot be service animals in the US, I still remember sitting with my friend Cassie who was visually impaired and her service dog, Bentley while we talked about the differences between ESAs and trained service animals.

We had a costume party fundraiser at the art museum where I work. I was a beanie baby and my bestie was Ms. Frizzle. We embraced the 90s nostalgia clearly. (Another coworker was the Log Lady from Twin Peaks)

I’m not sure why this is in our collection at the HCTM, but I love it.

Hi friends. I’m trying to figure out what the anagram is for this dry goods market which sold this men’s waist shirt. I checked the trademark database, and I could not find anything. I am stumped. Any ideas?

Christmas gifts suitable for war dogs. My heart. “Candy specially prepared for dog consumption…” I’m sobbing.

Kansas artist Margaret Evelyn Whittemore did the most beautiful bird prints. These are two that we have in the collection at the Beach.

I bought a 1944 War Bond off eBay! The Disney characters were part of the “Bonds for Babies,” drive where any child under the age of six would receive a war bond with Disney characters on it.

So! These are my parents on their wedding day in 1985. My mom, dad, and mom’s best friend were extras in Hoosiers in a crowd scene. I told my mom that I’m watching Hoosiers, and my mom gave me the challenge of finding them. Wish me luck y’all. #hatm

Omg. I get to see Charlie on Friday night. My mom has been babysitting him since I came back to Manhattan after Thanksgiving, and I miss him so much. :(

He’s been a great boy for his grandmeow though.

I bamboozled him with Christmas cheer.

Quote post with a picture of yourself and show these newbies who they’re dealing with.

(Yes, I was “Betsy Ross” in elementary school. My mom has the VHS somewhere of my presentation.)
