5 hours delayed. I guess flying somewhere for a long weekend just isn’t possible anymore, since the airlines have no incentive to get us somewhere when we pay them to?

But we lost all those girls. We lost the women they would have become. We lost the work they would have done. Why was his future work so much more valuable than theirs?

How many opportunities did I lose because men I encountered or worked with did (or didn't) think of me as someone they could get in bed? What was the point of a reporter willing to cover an active warzone if they were still laid off after bad decisions made by the paper's senior managers and owner?

It seems logical that they should be going door to door to talk to people or at least leave flyers. Have they done this? Or do they expect everyone to just follow the news? Can they help folks with the paperwork?
