I spent a lot of money on my cat at the vet today.
He just tried to bite me as I very gently tried to move him from my foot so I could get up to go to the bathroom.
I will continue to love him wildly.

I don't make the rules.

Anyway, this is James, my plump tuxedo boy before and when I sang to him.
He seemed to enjoy the singing.

I don't think I'm old yet. Although, my hope is to be old one day. I'm preparing for this by gathering as much confidence as possible. There is a crown in the corner of my bedroom. It's chipped and dusty with plastic rubies. If I reach seventy years old. I will adorn this crown with fairy lights and words of affirmation. I will wear it in celebration. For at least a week.
