When you are at a Luau, it feels like families are sharing a meal together. You eat along side of but not with them. Enjoying a show and meal in the same party gives you the illusion that you are. That’s modern life. And it’s isolating us. I miss and long for real connections with others.

I believe that if ownership and industries are modeled after the way Samoan customary land is managed, it could provide a solution to the problems of colonization and disadvantaged peoples. We need more group ownership of businesses and homes.

The quality of "experts" today is horrible. I've been attending meetings about AI to learn from other people. The skills of most of the speakers can be gained in ten minutes by googling the topic, which they then try to sell as services. I guess everyone wants to be a Robert Kiyosaki.

Gave up on my dream of moving to Hawaii. There isn’t much need for someone with my skill set. I can find work. But my presence will make things worse for the locals. Sad, because I wish there was a positive way I can fit into their ecosystem, like teach tech to kids on Maui or Hawaii island.

I'm a bit tired of people trying to sell me crypto investment services/strategies. If what you have is so valuable, why don't you use it to make yourself rich and leave us poor plebs alone?

I’m not a Newsom fan, but I’ll give him this one. It’s hard to believe any company doesn’t want access to the fifth largest world economy.

I’m decently successful. That means I have a handful of really successful friends in network. Reading their stories is very inspirational. But I’m also mindful that for every winner, there are a lot of losers. How many people will be inspired to take a risk they couldn’t afford?
