A book is brand new every time someone reads it for the first time. There's no such thing as coming late to any story.

Complete and utter failure by our president elect to act in a manner that provides comfort and leadership to the nation at a moment of crisis. The leadership vacuum in our country for the next 4 years will make things more difficult, but provides an opportunity for alternative leaders to emerge.

A ruffed grouse walked right up to my sliding glass door! Usually they're very shy.
Of course, it is easier for the bird to pick up birdseed from the deck than to forage through the snow.
