The last three days were insanely love. Iceland Symphony Iceland tour to Höfn, Vík and Selfoss and my harp and I on a big screen in Piccadilly Square London accompanying the ever brilliant Björk 😱 I am truly a grateful human today ☺️

I’m really over people saying that we should respect other opinions, when their “opinion” is that fascism is great. Also, I am now of the opinion that I don’t have to drag everyone from my past in to my present.

Watching my birth country, USA, become a dictatorship has really woken me up to how amazing it is to live in the world of music. I’m more grateful for it everyday. I always knew I have the best job I could have, but now I also feel, daily, this is my place and the best job for me.

At work yesterday, my Icelandic colleagues were expressing how the horrific Trump/Zelenskyy press conference terrified them. It terrifies me as well. I have a feeling returning to the US for a visit will not be an option for me soon.

I go back and forth between needing to read the horrors that the orange fascist is causing and being sick of hearing about it all. I am happy to live in Iceland but I’ve never felt such absolute hatred of the country I am a citizen of and I grew up in. Going to take a news break.

I feel like I am in a weird state of limbo. I am lucky to live in Iceland and happy to have called this place home for 20 years. Sometimes, I get really tired of feeling other people’s darkness. So many dark and evil people that get absolute joy in hurting those that aren’t exactly like them, that don’t believe like them, and that don’t look like them. #iamtired
