In the past couple months, designed and printed two new long sleeve shirts for @littleghostsbooks.bsky.social

Hope to make fun pieces that I’d be happy to wear, and was pretty pleased with how it these turned out. Hand printing sleeves is tricky! But I think worth the effort.

"When the world goes dark in 1980s Romania, Rosi is trapped on the truck she uses as a smuggling vessel along with the driver, Gigi, her arranged-marriage fiancé. The mood of the novel perfectly matches the grim and oppressive descriptions of this newly changed world. As cosmic horrors erupt around them, Rosi gathers the other survivors together to make their way to a hoped-for safety, led only by the radio signals they pick up. Woodroe’s writing is tight and clean, emphasizing the desperation and also the real fear that people would experience in this apocalyptic setting. The novel skillfully mixes celestial terror and off-the-wall weirdness while making good use of tweaked and twisted science, the Communist Romania setting, and believable characters. The ending hopefully paves the way for a sequel. VERDICT: Woodroe (Whisperwood) offers a haunting and propulsive treat in this survival horror story, whose read-alikes include The Mist and The Langoliers, both by Stephen King, and God’s Junk Drawer by Peter Clines."
