If anything, I think Chicago is one of the best cities equipped to handle inclement weather. I don’t get tired of these conditions because I know we have the means to handle them!

There was one summer (2012 or 2013 I think?) with one major thunderstorm where village-wide blackouts did happen briefly and entire roads were closed from fallen tree branches. That cleared up in maybe two or three days.

Like some others have said, this is one of the largest snow storms we’ve gotten in years, and even then it’s being handled from what I can tell fairly efficiently. We have the infrastructure to handle it.
Heavy thunderstorms happen maybe once every two months or so in the spring and summer.

Funny story: I went in not knowing any of the party character designs, but my friends who did were eager about how hot I’d make my character, especially since they kept talking about “this one hot Druid” that I would want to ride the moment I saw him. I spent almost two hours designing my Tav.
