I’m just starting to get back to music. I’m feeling “behind.” Am I just out of practice or have I lost it?

A friend’s family is in need and grieving. I’m so sad to see a momma pass leaving a little one behind. It hits too close to home.

First time taking myself to lunch in years. Having sushi and tea and it’s the best self-care. 💕

What is goin on with the world? Jeeze 😥
I'm sorry, American friends, but we have to take back Superman, basketball, IMAX movies, egg cartons, and Keanu Reeves now. I wish it didn't have to be this way.

Black History month is a great time to branch out and learn more (thanks to events and community/personal focus) but, remember, Black history is/always has/always will be core history.

Did you know there's a translate option under the three dots on a post? I get quote-posted in various languages so use this feature to translate the quote-post. Pretty cool.

I basically follow drag artists, librarians, and scientists on here and I think that’s why I enjoy this space. 💕

Totally hooked on the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Long live her majesty Princess Donut and her royal court.

The first book is utter silliness and totally what I needed. Thank you @mattdinniman.bsky.social from a new and very enthusiastic fan.

Just made fudge for the first time and am now waiting for it to set. I’ve been enjoying a lot of firsts this season and I’m feeling quite happy about it.

I’m working on making salt from seawater today! I’m very much enjoying the learning process. I have such a desire to be more self-sufficient but don’t have people irl to do this with so it’s definitely a journey.

The survival horror genre is the most scary to me. Some people can watch this casually and it baffles me.

Finally moved over to story graph today. Didn’t import from goodreads but that’s not too important to me.

I really like so many of the features! It has informative tags, good summaries, and it’s easier to use I think. I wouldn’t have heard of it if I hadn’t been here. Thanks #booksky

Today’s book buy from Eureka Books. I love that store. Two stories of great finds! So looking forward to all of these. I’m especially looking forward to Becky Chambers’ book that was recommended to me. Local author! #booksky

Sometimes I think I have nothing to say, but usually it’s that I think no one will stop to hear it.

My current read. I’m already loving it! So much I’m learning and trying to take in. Science books like this (well-written pieces that lay people can understand) are among my absolute favorite books to read.

Based on a recommendation here, I have Bury Your Gays lined up for my next read. #booksky

Make art that you think is fuckin sick as hell. Make the shit you never thought you could that you always wanted to see. Beat your insecurity to death and fight to become your own favorite artist.

I took this photo down at the Timber Heritage Society. Part of me wants to see the inside of it. The other part of me doesn’t want to see what kind of mood horrors live there. #photography #ships #trains
