"Sinn Féin and the DUP have stalled the nutrients action programme over fears of a farmer backlash."

The *only* thing they'll unite on: ensuring the largest lake ecosystem in Ireland or Britain, Lough Neagh, continues to die of pollution.

What a f**king disgrace.

Darragh is a brilliant, hard-working Councillor who cares deeply for his community. Gobshites & foot-soldiers of English nationalism are attacking him for standing up for his community.

If you want more Darraghs & fewer Tommys in politics, then get involved, speak out & don't let the bastards win!

Thanks so much to Brian from @microwild.bsky.social for sharing his incredible knowledge about all things six and eight legged today at Santry Community Garden in conjunction with the Irish Bee Conservation Project. I think I’ll park the flatworms for now but I may have been bitten by d harvestmen!

Happy #worldbeeday Can I introduce these beauties. A rare species in Ireland Blue Mason Bees (Osmia caerulescens) turned up in my Cabra Dub 7 garden on Sunday. 1st discovered in Co. Down in 2019 & another population in Co. Cork. Why? My garden is pure wild. I’d like to think that is the reason.
