LE SAMURAI (🇫🇷🇮🇹 1967) while this is solid enough I'd definitely peg this as "good" over "great". It's all very handsome, cool, & well-made, but it's yet another Criterion release that feels way over-hyped to me. The entire plot hangs on flimsy details and a there's few tedious sections.
