Of all the people in my life I’m willing and grateful to waste time with, without the need for a name for it beyond care, beyond love.
Of the people whose places in my life shift and change - but who remain people I am happy to have lost so much beautiful time with.

There’s a tendency to think of relationships that don’t continue as they began as failure, and as that time as being wasted. But it’s the *willingness to waste that time* that makes the relationship real, that makes it important.
And it’s such a joy to recognize all the people for whom that’s true.
