no one stopped him from buying the US election, so he's doing the same with the UK, French and German elections too. Pretty logical progression. Europe's center-right and center-left are just as delusional and paralyzed in inaction as the Dems here were. They can't even log off the guy's website!

It still blows me away that poor people get fined every day for tail lights or headlights being out, but fucking automated Waymo cars can run red lights with no driver with impunity. Just complete societal failure to hold engineers accountable for the violence they cause.

Like it feels to me we're at the terminal endpoint of decades of passively nodding and going "Oh, yeah, sure, safety, sure, whatever" while doing whatever we wanted anyways, and now we're at "Look, we're just gonna let software kill some folks because it's faster and makes number go up."
