I am okay with that result.

I am also happy to give Newsom credit for what he is doing to stand up against fascism. But you have to stand up for everyone, including trans people, or you don't really understand the assignment.

FYI Gov. Newsom has until October 12 to sign or veto legislation that has been passed by the legislature. If he does nothing, the bill becomes law.

If you are concerned about legislation that he has not yet vetoed or signed, encourage him to sign the laws. But doing nothing also works.

Weaponized gratitude is a key tool in the abuser's toolkit. The goal is to convince the victim that they owe the abuser so much, they should feel guilty for wanting to complain.
