#VA-01 voters, it’s time to refresh our knowledge about the Democratic candidates running for Congress who won’t take corporate PAC money.

Their pledge means they’ll work for us, not big money. If we want real change, we need more reps who aren’t compromised by corporations & special interests.
I made this graphic to showcase the 2026 VA-01 Democratic congressional candidates who aren’t taking corporate PAC money. The color scheme is various shades of blue, white, and black. Looking For Her is a cute sapphic holiday romance, but my one gripe is the scene that mocks vegetarianism/dietary restrictions. It’s important to stop dumping on vegetarianism & veganism both in entertainment and real life and a big reason why relates to humanity’s survival. (thread)

My biggest beef with House ’85 is that the film starts with the main character struggling to write his next book but doesn’t end with him releasing a book about his haunted house adventures. That was the most obvious way to bookend(!) the film and I’m gonna be salty about it for the rest of my life.

I finally caught up with the comedy horror movie House. Not the cool, weird Japanese one from ‘77, but the mediocre yet oddly watchable House from 1985. It’s about a struggling writer who moves into the house of his deceased aunt to work on his next book. Haunted shenanigans ensue.

Ericka also spoke about being a Courage Candidate, which means she’d file articles of impeachment against you-know-who and others in the current administration to hold them accountable and combat corruption. She really brought the Wonder Woman energy!
