They have been open for over a month, and there have been police there governing traffic every day of that time. Portillo's is enjoyable, but no food spot merits this level of enthusiasm.
There is a Portillo‘s in Metro Atlanta now, and I drove by and saw two police cars with their lights on barely managing to control the traffic into it, the people crave eating an entire 3 pound slice of chocolate cake in the middle of the day in their car

Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.
It's just not that hard to either: 1. pretend to have basic respect for the humanity of someone who was murdered or 2. just say nothing about them. But this guy can't even pretend, and lord knows he never ever shuts up. Disgusting, but not surprising.
Trump doubles down on his Rob Reiner attack: "I wasn't a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person... He became like a deranged person, Trump Derangement Syndrome. So I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country."

How many directors never make one truly memorable movie? Rob Reiner has at least a half dozen that are still hugely popular 30 years after he made them. It would be an amazing body of work before he did any writing or acting, not to mention his involvement in civic causes. R.I.P.

This is unprofessional is any circumstance, but after Bowles mangled the clock management at game's end to allow the Falcons the time to drive for the win he should be fired on the spot for saying this nonsense.

Lamest, most predictable thing ever. If you want to do it you can, Big Ten. No one's stopping you, but you don't get to run the sport and dictate what's allowed and what's not. The idea playing Western Illinois mid September is perfectly fine but is just wrong to do in mid November is really dumb.

Sure, Penn State beat writers and national CFB guys don't have this, but a host based out of WFAN with no meaningful connections ever to CFB does. "Sources" - with no qualfiers at all to explain why the "sources" would be in position to know anything about any of this. Sounds super legit.

Pat's complaining about his supposed enemies again? Gosh, never would've guessed. He almost never does that, unless it's a day of the week ending in y.

I was in Philadelphia the first time this occurred. Regardless of your views, it was completely impossible to be there and not think these were regular Philadelphia residents who dare to disagree with folks like Sean here. Millions voted against Trump - is it really hard to grasp some will protest?
Sean Duffy: "The No Kings protest, Maria, really frustrating. This is part of antifa, paid protesters. It begs the question who's funding it."

Penn State is spending 50 million dollars to fire James Franklin, and there's a terrific chance whoever they get next will do worse than him. Guess we're done pretending these schools care about anything but winning it all.

finebaum is on espn right now and in related news he’s been desperately trying to get himself “canceled” because that’s the only way to launch a right-wing political career. he’s laundering all this through his good friend clay and using the media as suckers. it’s transparently bullshit

Finebaum is as phony as the day is long. and always has been.
I'd never heard of this guy when he was brought out as guest picker for the SEC title game in 2023. I wish I still hadn't. That aside I'm amazed, given how that appearance went, they chose to do it again.

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

How is it possible that this guy does this knowing full well he's being filmed and clearly expects zero repercussions for doing so?
I wish there was some way McAfee could find to make the show more about him. It would be a shame for all of us to be distracted by games or analysis when this incredibly interesting person can be mugging for cameras.

This person should've been unemployable forever, maybe in any line of work but certainly in journalism. But notoriety is just as good as credibility for a lot of places now, so here we are.
I want everyone to take a step back for a second, remember why she was fired from New York and juxtapose this w/ all the high profile media folks that have recently lost *their* jobs. *Some* people are allowed to fail upwards. It's mesmerizing.

Bill Walsh has been dead for 18 years and still has a better coaching tree and level of influence in both levels of the sport than Harbaugh. Even for Colin, this is a particularly "what's the easiest shiny thing" take.
"If you count college and pro, I would make an argument today, the greatest coach in the history of football is not Bill Belichick or Bill Walsh or Vince Lombardi. It's Jim Harbaugh. The greatest coach ever." - Colin Cowherd
