I’ve tried writing this a few times now so I’ll just say it: There aren’t words to accurately express how I feel about my country’s participation in genocide. Every day is a new horror and I see it on my timeline, every day, without fail. I have a duty to watch, but fuck it hurts.

Please read this. According to their account, the family did NOT want the police there. They tried hard to deescalate the situation. But 911 would not send an ambulance without the police. This is the exact catastrophe the family tried to avoid.
