Extremely pleased with a chapter rewrite this morning. The magic is in revision, Hurley! I'll tell you: having the confidence that I can rework the flesh on the bones of a scene has been really key with this book. I threw out years of work on last one in part, I think, due to this lack of confidence

I remember getting lost at a horse show aged 5. I wandered off when my mum was in the in the warm-up arena then I couldn't find the woman who owned the horse mum was riding. Eventually someone asked if I was alright and just took me back to the warm-up. Fine.

This kid will remember this forever.

Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

No MP should be earning £380,000 on top of their parliamentary salary.

Farage manages it because he's turned "politainment" into a viable career. Like his US counterparts he's discovered that being a disruptor can make you very wealthy indeed.

Filed my tax return last week.

Wondering what the HMRC would have done if I'd neglected to declare £380,000 on account of the fact that "I don't do computers."
