Pickled some jalapeños and some more cucumbers this afternoon. My wife says we have old lady hobbies but it’s cheap to do and I think it’s good eating things we grew ourselves.

I can’t figure out why my head hurts and my stomach is upset I say as I stand in the 93 degree heat chugging Diet Coke and eating jalapeños right out of my garden

Sometimes an hour or two away from the hustle and bustle quiets the bees in my head. I caught this little guy on a 5wt fly rod throwing a wooly bugger.

I use barbless hooks and practice catch and release as often as I can to minimize stress and injury to the fishies.

Our cucumber plant in our garden is producing way more vegetables than we envisioned. So today my wife and I decided to try our hand at making pickles. Seems like the first batch worked out ok but we will know more once everything is cooled and the seals are checked.

If I can’t make it to the river, sometimes I like to take the kayak out and fly fish in nearby lakes. I don’t always catch fish but I usually come back feeling better than I did when I left.

We put this birdhouse out in a tree two years ago. It looks like there either are or were occupants this year.

100% agree. Libraries represent access to knowledge and information for a community. Public spaces where people can meet, study, job hunt, listen to music, learn new things, and more. Fund them and let them serve as source of pride for everyone nearby.
Physical media is a tiny part of what libraries are about. They're one of the last remaining parts of the commons, a public space where you don't have to buy anything to be there. They have bathrooms, water fountains, and AC. They have social programs. They have internet. Destroying them is fascist.
Libraries in their current form are outdated. The need for physical media is unnecessary and a waste of or real estate
