this is apparently, at least partially, driven by the mayor cutting down a bunch of trees at a historic site and pissing off a ton of people.

also because of how wet the roads were earlier i bought myself an extra 12 hours at home tomorrow which is nice

i do indeed have a snow day! i slept in a glorious amount of hours; maia has learned about Under Covers so she is now snuggled up with me purring her heart out

reasons why i should be wifed up: i can do this and then turn around and make a mashed potato glue ball that ends up on nearly every surface of the kitchen 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

it would have been better with actual snow outside but the weather didn’t ask me about timing
