Had to attend a PD at another HS today. Among the usual detritus of trash in the stairwell, I happened upon one large tube sock, a toothbrush, and dozens of Cards Against Humanity cards scattered everywhere. Glanced at the first two, “Smegma” and “Butt Stuff” and decided to keep it moving.

It is exhausting having to research and figure out everything from black plastics to best ventilation practices to COVID vaccine schedules, I know this is a wild idea but have we thought about creating publicly funded government bodies that could manage and regulate this stuff on our behalf

Played Heads Up with my 10th graders today. Here are some things I learned: 1) They aren’t sure who Elvis is, but do know about Pulp Fiction. 2) American Idol is out. 3) Sophia Grace and Rosie of Ellen fame are now influencers. 4) Denzel Washington is “that guy from Gladiator 2”.

I can genuinely say that this man had a direct impact on my life. He made BIG BUSINESS, my wife's childhood favorite movie and a big inspiration for her eventual move to New York City, which is where we met.

I can genuinely say that this man had a direct impact on my life. He made BIG BUSINESS, my wife's childhood favorite movie and a big inspiration for her eventual move to New York City, which is where we met.
