If I ever create a successful franchise, such as a comic/novel etc. I'd like to make a show that obnoxiously strays from the source material, just for the season finale to be a portal opens and the characters from the "OG/cannon" universe arrive to kill everyone from the show n just leave.

While there are many systems that try to pull back on the potency of magic in #TTRPGs I am always confused why game designers don't push in the opposite direction of giving martial classes options and abilities that read and perform the same as spells. 🧵

In response to the discourse in some circles of the #TTRPG space around "ugly & evil vs hot & neutral/good" Goblins I have a proposed solution,
Gelfs.
Their origin can be either mundane or a more "dark" cross-breeding of Goblins and Elves.
Or they can be a more mischievous Fey-leaning variant.

I tell myself I want to at least try #pathfinder someday, but whenever I see/hear anything about other #ttrpg system I just feel all my 5e bias boiling over with thoughts like
"you really didn't need to make a whole other system to implement this one thing" or
"Everything unique about this sucks".
