À la sortie du supermarché, Boulet plisse les yeux, éblouis par le soleil. Boulet: "Aouch ! Le soleil dans la gueule !" puis, enfilant une paire de lunettes noires: "Bon." Boulet marche dans la rue, et capte son reflet dans une vitrine: Il est donc habillé d'une marinière, d'un long manteau noir, de gants noirs, d'un masque noir, d'un bonnet noir, et porte des lunettes noires. Sur son dos, il transporte un immense sac de courses bien rond. Pour eux, tout est nouveau" Case 2: l'enfant est tombé par terre et il hurle, des larmes plein les yeux Texte Off: "Quand il t'arrive un truc douloureux ou déplaisant, tu hurles, parce que c'est littéralement le pire truc qui te soit jamais arrivé" Case 3: Boulet est dans le couloir de son immeuble, devant sa boîte aux lettres. Il croise sa voisine. Texte Off: "Deux ans, c'est RIEN pour un adulte. 2019 pour moi c'est "Le présent", même pas "le passé"" Voisine: "Hey salut ! Ça fait un bail !" Boulet: "Salut ! Oui, j'étais pas souvent là ces derniers mois !" Case 2: l'enfant de la case 1 croise une petite fille qui tient un lapin en peluche. Les deux ont l'air concentré, semblant s'efforcer de se rappeler qui est l'autre. Texte Off: "Quand tu as huit ans, quelqu'un que tu n'as pas vu depuis deux ans, c'est UN QUART DE TA VIE" Petite fille: "Pardonnez-moi monsieur, votre visage m'est familier..." Petit garçon: "De même... Vous me rappelez une vieille connaissance." Case 5: On voit le visage de Boulet enfant évolué vers son visage adulte. Entre les deux il y a un toubillons de formes indistinctes où l'on devine des yeux et une bouche. Texte Off: Et passé la trentaine, on est juste un ou une adulte. Il ne se passe rien de notable en termes d'âge. On est juste "un peu moins jeune", voilà tout. Alors que les six ans entre 12 et 18 ans on passe de l'enfance à l'âge adulte, avec en plus le cataclysme de l'adolescence entre les deux. Case 6: La nièce de Boulet est assise sur un fauteuil, devant une bibliothèque. Elle a l'air de réfléchir intensément. Texte Off: pour un ado, "il y a 5-6 ans c'est une autre vie." Nièce: "J'ai un VIEUX VIEUX souvenir d'enfance... On avait joué à Minecraft tout l'été et on avait enterré un trésor dans le jardin..." La nièce sourit, on voit qu'elle est face à Boulet rabougri, qui a l'air d'avoir 100 ans. Texte Off: C'est comme ça qu'ils peuvent te DÉMOLIR en deux phrases. Nièce: "Mais c'était il y a une ÉTERNITÉ, je ne sais pas si tu t'en souviens !" Boulet (d'une voix faible): "C'était pas l'an dernier ?"

Perso j'ai réalisé que réagir à l'actu me rendait malheureux et furieux 24/24, alors j'ai décidé de me cantoner à poster des BD/Illustrations, mais ne vous y trompez pas, ce n'est pas que je m'en fous de ce qui se passe, c'est juste pour moi l'équivalent psychologique de hurler dans un oreiller.

Oldies but Goodies - French is Weird 05 - "Butts"
Butts In french a lot of expressions turn around "cul" (ass. But don't say the L, just say cu'). Of course we have the classic insults like "asshole" (trou du cul) and "assface" (tête de cul) (We don't have "asshat", though. Which I deeply regret. I might try to use "cul-chapeau" next time I insult someone. I always imagine a butt with a top hat) Even in common language we have those. I mean: it's not even rude to say: Un cul-de-sac (a bag's ass) it just means a dead end Cul-sec (dry ass) only means "Bottoms up!" Un cul-de-lampe (lamp-ass) is a decoration in architecture Cul-de-jatte (bowl's ass) is for a person without legs (even if this one is a very old term and is not technically rude, it is viewed as offensive to people with disability. Don't be an ass.) More than just "ass", cul can mean sex in general (in some expressions) Un plan-cul / une histoire de cul, both refer to casual sex. (image of a map with a butt on it / image of a butt in costume saying "oh, Romeo!) Un film de cul (an ass-movie) is a porn. (image of a butt saying "draw me like one of your french girls") There are SO MANY expressions with cul that I can barely scratch the surface, Here are some of the most absurd/funniest ones: Avoir la tête dans le cul: to have your head in your ass: means you are sleepy and/or hungover. Avoir un balai dans le cul : to have a broom in your ass : to be strict and cold / uptight. Avoir le cul bordé de nouilles : to have your ass surrounded by pasta: to be very lucky Avoir le cul entre deux chaises: to have your butt between two chairs: to be conflicted, to be "on the fence" Coûter la peau du cul: to cost the skin of the ass: to be really expensive Péter plus haut que son cul: to fart higher than your ass: to be full of yourself, to be pretentions. être comme cul et chemise: to be like ass and shirt: to be really close to someone Se sortir les doigts du cul: to get your fingers out of your butt: to stop procrastinating and get to work My personnal favorite is the old one: "et mon cul, c'est du poulet ?", which literally means "and is my ass made of chicken ?" it is a sarcastic expression for when you don't believe something someone just said. A weird online theory says it could be the deformation of "mad ket'ch y-à poulenn" which would mean "and tomorrow will be sunny?" in Bretagne, a sarcasm since the region is very rainy) but it makes no sense at all and is likely an invention. The expression was popular in the 60s and appears in "zazie dans le métro" by Raymond Queneau, or the movie "la vérité" by Georges Clouzot. Also, in everyday's life: Un faux-cul "a fake-ass" is a hypocrite To follow someone with insistance is "coller au cul" (to stick to the butt) To fall pretty hard is "tomber cul par-dessus tête (to fall the ass over the head) Oh, this one is universal: "MON CUL !" is just "My ass!" To be lucky can also be AVOIR DU CUL (to have some ass), a suck-up is a LÈCHE-CUL (a lick-ass) If you are surprised/amazed, ça me troue le cul means "it pierces my ass", and if you are fed-up of something, J'EN AI PLEIN LE CUL means "my ass is full" And last but not least, when you don't want to listen anymore: PARLE À MON CUL, MA TÊTE EST MALADE (Talk to my butt, my head is sick), a gracefull equivalent to "talk to my hand" (Image of Boulet at a table with a butt. Boulet says "On the app, you had a face..." and the butt answers: "who cares? Gosh I'm starving! Do you like pasta?"
