For less than the price of one basic 800 W #balconysolar unit + installation in California (> 2000 USD?) you could get a #Balkonkraftwerk in Germany with:
-4x 500 W panels = 2000 W total
-inverter limited to 800 W feed-in
-integrated 1,6 kWh battery

It would be funny, if there weren't numerous incompetent politicians in countries like Finland just lining up to order more overpriced nuclear reactors with taxpayer money, while crowding out private investments in technologies that actually do work profitably.

Seems like the Zuma family is still loyal to Putin, 10 years after Jacob Zuma visited Putin in Moscow and returned with a 76 billion dollar deal to build 8 Russian nuclear reactors in South Africa.
Financially, the deal was insane, but shows how far friendship goes.

Seems like the Zuma family is still loyal to Putin, 10 years after Jacob Zuma visited Putin in Moscow and returned with a 76 billion dollar deal to build 8 Russian nuclear reactors in South Africa.

The price is negative when there is a lot of wind. The system is inflexible, wind and nuclear are no ideal combination. Wind could curb output but might have PPA obligation. Paper mills have committed to buy nuclear, even when they don't need it. Many mills closed so demand is less than expected

Das selbe gilt für USA. Utah hat #BalconySolar bereits bis zu 1200W zugelassen. Weitere 20-30 Bundesländer sind dabei.
Jedoch sind die Preise deutlich höher, 1000 US$ für eine Anlage.
