This is much better than Speaker Jeffries references to a vague violence, but it could be even more specific.

Name actual individuals who need to be held to account. It will make the general charges stick and spark an actual news cycle as reporters ask them for comments and replies. Call them out.
The Minnesota assassin appears to be a hate-filled right winger. So can we stop walking on eggshells about MAGA's legitimization of political violence?

Yes, Republicans have also been the target of inexcusable violence, but this isn't a "both sides" issue.

1/ A🧵on the danger.

Honestly, same.

Interesting that the first time in recent memory that @nytimes.com actually pushed back on anything being said on The Daily podcast was in conversation with @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social, the EIC of a competing news organization.

Let me speak to the DOGE audit language. Many people who work in both the Treasury and specifically the IRS are CPAs. Most audit firms hire CPAs. A 19yo coder has absolutely no idea how to accurately identify waste or fraud. Calling what DOGE is doing as a audit, is a flat out lie.

Agreed. I also eagerly await the hero shot from @bioreconstruct.bsky.social that matches the perspective and lighting of the original concept art.

24 hours in, and I’m fully committed to #TapestryApp.

The mute/muffle feature, as many have said, is a standout feature. I end up unmuffling most posts, but that conscious act of tapping gives me a moment to gird my mental state for whatever I’m about to read.

Great article. The Six Flags-Cedar Fair merger has resulted in the unexpected removal of some truly unique attractions, which is very disappointing in the short term. But it also puts plots of land (often large) back in many parks. I’ll be curious to see how this pans out over the next 2-5 years.
We've lost a large number of attractions over the past year that are now closed, or closing very soon. Give this article at @blooloop.bsky.social a read and see if this covers most of the ones we know about, or did I miss a big one along the way? blooloop.com/theme-park/o...
Saying goodbye to attractions vs. unexpected closures
Lance Hart looks at some key ride closures from 2024 and explains why a chance to say goodbye can make all the difference for coaster fans.

Savvy idea! The USH Studio Tour is one of the greatest theme park attractions of all time, but the current Fast and Furious finale misses all the marks: it’s poorly acted, cheaply rendered, and even its projection is oddly dim. Total vibe killer. This would be a massive improvement.
Something I did last year just for fun as a BTTF and a Universal Studios nerd. This would be too awesome for the finale of the Studio Tour.

Quick question. Can we please ensure methods of whistleblowing are:
- robust and wide open?
- decentralized when possible?
- easily accessible?
- well publicized?

A friendly reminder: The only demographic group we should pin an election result on are the tens of millions of eligible voters who willfully opt out and don’t vote. There is no acceptable excuse.
