In 2021, McAuliffe carried vote rich Fairfax County by about 130k votes. Last night, Spanberger carried it by almost 210k. That's the type of swing one simply can't erase even with juiced rural turnout (which didn't materialize).

In 1992, there were only three states in which Clinton won more popular votes than Bush and Perot combined: AR, MD, and NY. Maryland was the closest with Clinton outpolling Bush and Perot by a mere 63 votes.

If Murkowski votes for final passage of the megabill, under no circumstances should she ever be welcomed into the D caucus. You can't knowingly vote to hurt millions of Americans and then run into the Democratic fold for political preservation.
