Is there a way to block “resist dems” style posting on this app?? i agree with the subject matter but reading 1000 memetext variations on “this is bad”, “trump is fascist”, “share if you agree” isn’t really the sort of quality nuanced posts I’m looking for.

This morning Gorgo went out on the lawn, but we didn’t see the fawn hiding in the grass. he runs over to it and it runs away. he listens when we say “stay” but then up behind him COMES ANOTHER FAWN CHECKING HIM OUT!!! Gorgo thinks this means playtime and chases the fawn. The fawn screams, they run.

This is really great imo, getting everyone on the same level playing field for carbon reduction is important!
BREAKING NEWS!!

The first ever global carbon tax is coming — for ships.

The International Maritime Organization just agreed to enact a minimum $100 tax on every ton of carbon dioxide their member ships emit by 2028.

It’s far from perfect, but it’s still an important step in the right direction.
Major nations agree on first-ever global tax on greenhouse gases with plan that targets shipping
Many of the world’s largest shipping nations decided on Friday to impose a minimum tax of $100 for every ton of carbon dioxide emitted by ships, if their planet-heating emissions are not already accou...

The anti-trans movement is welfare for losers.
What a summary of the anti-trans movement:

March 23rd: female fencer competes in mixed-gender event, beating several male competitors, finishing 8th

March 30th: same fencer films herself telling trans competitor “I am refusing to fence you, because I am a woman and you are a man,” collects $5000

(This is a hater take) This is a skill issue!! The amount of people who don’t know how to properly format a document in Word is shocking. If you just mouse on over to the font size when you want to make a heading I am sending you to the gulag they keep Clippy in.

Really wish there were local software developer meetups that were just for devs to talk about what cool software they’re using, making, and how they’re using all of it.

It seems like Canadians don’t want to go to a country that threatens their sovereignty, where you can get disappeared off the street by undercover agents for writing an op-ed in your college’s newspaper.
